About the Club

The Kiwanis de Amigos meets the first Tuesday and the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm at Bumsted’s at 1003 N. Stone Ave. Anyone is welcome to come and learn more about the club.

We perform service projects and volunteer services throughout the year and we hold fundraising activities to support our service.

On September 14th we held our 20th Annual Rattlesnake Run, which is a cross country run for middle school athletes in Tucson and Southern Arizona. This year 40 schools participated and over 400 athletes competed. You can learn more about it and check out some photos by clicking HERE.

Rally ‘Round the Kids

The Rally ‘Round the Kids is a fun fundraiser for the club, where we design a course throughout the Tucson area and teams compete to follow the course, not get lost, and get the closest to the target travel time. You get to see parts of Tucson you may have never seen before and there are prizes for the winners. This year the Rally will be on Sunday, October 27. More details and how to register are available HERE.

Upcoming Events

The Kiwanis de Amigos Club will be sponsoring our annual Holiday Shopping Spree this December. We team up with a local elementary school and take kids in need on a shopping spree for their families. After shopping we convene at the school and wrap presents, drink hot chocolate and have a great time.

The 21st Kiwanis de Amigos Relays will be April 12, 2025 at the University of Arizona track and field facility. This is one of the largest middle school track and field events for middle schools in the state. Watch this space for more details as the event nears.
